Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Subsea Engineering, two years subsea related experiences, or approval by the subsea degree program advisor.
Various subsea engineering topics and case studies will be presented by industry experts in order to relay their experiences and recommendations to relate subsea engineering principles into real world scenarios. At the completion of this course, student will be able to:
- Describe methods that have been utilized to troubleshoot and solve subsea engineering issues
- Explain a variety of best practices utilized in subsea engineering.
- Summarize new subsea engineering concepts and challenges.
- Discuss why certain subsea practices have been recently adopted by top companies.
This course is offered as an online continuing education course. Students, who successfully complete this course will earn continuing education units and a certificate of course completion. No academic credit will be issued for completing this course.
